Anita Zumbühls künstlerische Auseinandersetzung ist geleitet von der Neugier, Dinge zu erforschen: sie experimentiert mit Materialien, Worten, Bildern und Arbeitsprozessen. In vielen ihrer Arbeiten denkt sie nach über was wir Natur nennen — auch um unseren Platz in ihr neu zu denken.
Neben ihrer eigenen künstlerischen Tätigkeit realisiert sie kollaborative Projekte in wechselnden Konstellationen und ist Teil des Künstlerinnenkollektiv Salon Liz.
Ihre Werke wurden in zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen präsentiert und mehrfach mit Preisen ausgezeichnet. Atelierstipendien führten sie nach New York und an die Cité International des Arts Paris.

Anita Zumbühlʼs artistic practice is guided by a curiosity to explore things: she experiments with materials, words, images and working processes. In many of her works, she reflects on what we call nature — also in order to rethink our place in it.
In addition to her own artistic work, she realizes collaborative projects in changing constellations and is part of the artist collective Salon Liz.
Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions and she is the recipient of several awards. Studio grants have taken her to New York and the Cité International des Arts Paris, among other places.
